When does Registration close?

Registration for Amaranth closes at 5.00pm Friday 29th July 2011, or when Amaranth sells out; whichever occurs earlier.  To ensure you do not completely miss out, please try purchase your tickets as soon as possible. Simply registering before the 29th July does NOT ensure you a place at Amaranth, as we may sell out. We advise to keep in mind that certain payment methods may take a few days to properly process. To avoid any risk of missing out, please purchase and pay for your ticket as soon as possible. Your place is only secure once your payment has been successfully processed.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

At this point in time Amaranth does not intend to sell any tickets at the door. Amaranth requires much planning and exact numbers well before the event in order to run smoothly. It is generally difficult and sometimes even unreasonable for Amaranth to sell tickets at the door. Please assume we will not sell tickets at the door so please purchase your tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out!

What do I need to bring to Amaranth to get in?

Please bring your receipt (this should be e-mailed to you after purchase) as well as correct ID (see "What form of ID can I use?")

Do I have to wear a badge while at Amaranth?

Unlike Manifest, Amaranth does not have badges. However, upon presenting your receipt at Amaranth you will be given an admission ticket to allow you inside. Please keep this on you at all times to prove you are an attendee should you be asked.

What are receipts and tickets for?

Your receipt you will receive serves multiple purposes, one of which includes allowing you entry to Amaranth. Please print this and bring it with you to Amaranth. We will provide you with a ticket at the door which you should keep on you at all times to prove you are a paid attendee.

Can I buy multiple tickets?

Yes, you can buy multiple tickets through the site. However each individual ticket-holder must be weary of the terms and conditions, and the attendees' code of conduct, and abide by these codes.

I'm under 18. What does that mean?

All minors must leave the premises before 9.30pm due to liquor licensing laws. No exceptions will be made.

I have paid, when do I get my ticket?

Once you arrive at the venue, please make your way to the registration desk, where we will process your details (upon seeing your printed receipt), hand you an admission ticket to let you in, as well as present you with materials such as Amaranth show bags if applicable.

What form of ID can I use (to prove my age)?

The registration process will be smoothest on each of you, our attendees, should your Identification contain: your full name, a photograph of yourself, and your date of birth (or identifies your age). Examples of Identification(s) that will be accepted most easily include: a current Australian Driver’s License or permit, passport, Proof of Age Card, Key Pass Card or Photo ID accompanied with a Birth Certificate.

Manifest is required to check the age of our attendees to verify if attendees are aged over 15 or over 18. This is because Amaranth, as part of Manifest, has different legal and insurance obligations to each of these age groups of attendees.

Can I use my School, TAFE or University card?

If this form of identification contains your full name, a photo of yourself, and your date of birth (or age) and follows the standards of your institution’s identification system, we will accept these as a proof of who you are.

Most School, TAFE and University cards do not regularly contain people’s ages or their date of birth; if this is the case, we strongly suggest you bring along your birth certificate in order to prove your age, otherwise you may be refused entry, without entitlement to a refund.

Can I use a photocopy of my birth certificate?

Only certified photocopies of birth certificates will be accepted.

What is a certified photocopy; how do I obtain one?

A certified photocopy is a photocopy that has been verified – signed, dated and stamped with an official stamp – by a person in any of the following positions of authority: a minister or religion, a medical doctor, a pharmacist, a member of the police force, or a notary public. The simplest way to go about it is to take your original birth certificate and photocopy/copies of your birth certificate to a local pharmacist or police station.

What if I don’t have any ID or a birth certificate that can verify my age?

For all attendees, you must have acceptable photo identification and prove your date of birth/age to us at the time of entering Amaranth. If you do not have any identification that supports you are aged 15 or over we will be required to refuse you entry and you will not be entitled to any refund.

Can I change my ticket type?

If you have a VIP ticket and can no longer attend the VIP part of the night you may either purchase a new ticket and pass your VIP ticket to a friend; apply for a refund and purchase a new ticket; or simply keep your ticket and come whenever you can.

If you have a regular ticket and would like to be a VIP ticket holder you may either purchase a new ticket and pass your regular ticket to a friend or apply for a refund and purchase a new ticket.
The above scenarios are subject to ticket availability. Please read through our refund policy first. Any refunds will incur a fee of $10.

If I can’t attend Amaranth anymore, can I give my ticket to a friend, who can?

Yes. Please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and give us their details so we can transfer the order to be under their name. They will then receive an altered invoice which they must print and present to us to the night to claim the ticket.
